DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SOCIAL CARE WORKER (2 POSTS)
Applications are sought for the positions of _Domestic Violence Social
Care Worker _with Cuanlee Refuge.
Cuanlee Refuge provides accommodation and support services for women
and children experiencing domestic abuse. The staff team provide a
range of pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis responses, that support
women who wish to move on and live independently, free from violence.
Our professional staff are available to support women and children
during their stay in the refuge. A non-judgmental, open and welcoming
service is available to all women and children in Cuanlee Refuge.

* Post 2 is a **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** MONTH CONTRACT at **Apply on
the website** hours per week.
This is a shift work position and requires evening, night, and weekend
work. Flexibility will be required about working hours and across
services.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* A recognised professional qualification in Social Care or an
appropriate equivalent.
* Experience working in with vulnerable families and children
services.
* A clear understanding of domestic abuse, child protection and
welfare issues, risk and safety issues
* Knowledgeable on legal, housing and social welfare issues
(particularly in relation to family law and domestic violence orders)
* A strong ability to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
* Strong IT skills, comfortable using databases
* Professional, caring and empathetic approach to working with
vulnerable adults, children and families.
* Commitment to the vision, mission and values of Cuanlee Refuge.
* Full driving license and access to a car.
